Delete your data.
Four things you can do, in the product or by email: disconnect a provider, revoke its access, delete media, or delete your whole account.
Last updated 26 October 2026
Stuntman is operated by STUDIO SLATE PTY LTD (ABN 60 695 372 993). We never ask for a social-account password, in the product or by email. If something claiming to be Stuntman asks for one, do not send it.
Disconnect a provider
Social accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) are listed on the organic posting screen; advertising accounts (Meta Ads, Google Ads) on the connections step of Launch. Each connected account has a disconnect button. Only the workspace owner can use it.
When you disconnect, Stuntman immediately:
- marks the connection as disconnected and stops using it;
- cancels any pending connection attempt and any post or ad change that was reviewed on that account but not yet sent;
- for a managed connection, asks Zernio, the connection service, to drop the platform's access token it held for that account;
- for a direct connection, once those are available, deletes the access token Stuntman holds for that account.
If the platform cannot be reached at that moment, the product shows the connection as unknown and cleanup continues in the background. Posts that had already been sent are not removed from the platform; that is the next section.
Revoke access on the platform
Disconnecting inside Stuntman is enough to stop Stuntman acting. To be certain the platform itself no longer grants access, revoke it there too:
- Google and YouTube: the Google security settings page lists third-party apps with account access. Remove Stuntman there.
- Facebook and Meta Ads: in Facebook settings, open Business integrations and remove Stuntman.
- Instagram: in Instagram settings, open Apps and websites and remove Stuntman.
- TikTok: in TikTok settings, open Security and permissions, then Apps and services, and remove Stuntman.
- X: in X settings, open Security and account access, then Apps and sessions, then Connected apps, and remove Stuntman.
Revoking on the platform ends Stuntman's access at once. Stuntman will show the connection as needing attention the next time it tries to use it.
Delete media
Open any item in your library and choose delete. The item is marked deleted straight away and removed from storage. A download link that was issued before you deleted the item keeps working until that link expires, which is within an hour. Deleting media in Stuntman does not delete copies you already published to a platform.
Delete your account
Open the account menu, choose "Delete account", type DELETE to confirm, and choose "Delete account and data". Only the workspace owner can do this. You are signed out immediately.
What happens straight away:
- your workspace is marked for deletion and access is closed;
- every API key is revoked and every webhook is disabled;
- jobs still running are told to cancel;
- every connected social and advertising account is disconnected, managed connection records are queued for erasure at Zernio, and any token Stuntman holds for a direct connection is deleted;
- your media is marked deleted;
- advertising data read from your accounts, landing pages, briefs and test plans are erased.
Content erasure then runs in the background. It waits for jobs that were mid-flight with a provider to settle, then removes your sign-in identity from Clerk, scrubs prompts, media records, recordings, transcripts, projects, conversations and API key details, and marks the deletion complete. Unused credits are lost when the account is deleted.
Ask by email
If you cannot sign in, or you want us to do any of the above for you, email chris@studioslate.com.au from the address you signed up with and say what you want deleted: a specific connection, specific media, or the whole account. We act only on confirmation from the sign-up address, so if you write from another address we will reply to the sign-up address first. We will confirm by email when the request has been carried out.
What stays
- Published content. Posts you approved and published, and campaign changes you approved, stay on Meta, Google, TikTok or YouTube. Delete or change them on the platform.
- Financial records. Credit purchases, charges and refunds are kept for accounting, as the law requires.
- A deletion record. A minimal record that the account was deleted, holding a one-way hash of the account identifier rather than your details, so the account cannot be recreated by accident.
- Copies held by others. Zernio, the AI model providers and the platforms keep data under their own policies. Our deletion reaches what we and our processors hold for us, not copies the platforms keep for themselves.
The privacy policy lists everything Stuntman stores and who processes it.
