Terms of service.

These terms describe how Stuntman behaves today and what you agree to when you use it.

Last updated 26 October 2026

Who you are dealing with

Stuntman is operated by STUDIO SLATE PTY LTD (ABN 60 695 372 993). Our address is J36, 161 Arthur Street, Homebush West NSW 2140, Australia and our contact is chris@studioslate.com.au. "We" and "us" mean STUDIO SLATE PTY LTD. "You" means the person or business using Stuntman.

The service and early access

Stuntman is a creative and marketing tool. It makes images, video and landing pages, prepares social posts and advertising changes for your approval, carries out what you approve on accounts you connect, and reports the results. The how it works page describes each step and which parts are open to customers.

Stuntman is in early access. Features may change, be withdrawn or stay unavailable, and some integrations are still under review by the platforms they connect to. We will say in the product when a feature is not yet live. Nothing in these terms promises that a particular feature will become available.

Who can use it

Stuntman is for businesses and the people who run or work for them. You must be able to form a binding contract where you live, and if you use Stuntman for a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.

Your account

You sign in with an account managed by Clerk. Each account has one workspace with one owner. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what is done through your account, your API keys and the tools you connect to it. API keys carry the scopes and spend limits you set; revoke a key as soon as you no longer trust it.

Connected accounts and authority

When you connect a social or advertising account, you confirm that you own it or are authorised by its owner to connect it and to act on it, including publishing content and changing campaigns and budgets. You confirm that doing so does not breach that platform's terms or any agreement you have with its owner.

Today every connection is a managed connection through Zernio, the connection service we use. Direct connections to Meta, TikTok, Google and YouTube, and X through Stuntman's own developer apps are being built and are not yet available; the connection screen tells you which applies. Either way you sign in on the platform's own screen and Stuntman never holds your platform password. You can disconnect at any time inside Stuntman or revoke access from the platform; the data deletion page has the steps.

Approvals, publishing and ad spend

Stuntman does nothing on a connected account without an approval from the workspace owner. Before each action it shows an exact review: the content, destination, settings and, for advertising, the budget and the confirmations about possible spend. An approval applies to that exact review only, is used once, and expires if unused. If the material changes, you review again.

When you approve an action, you authorise us to carry out that action on your behalf and accept its consequences, including any advertising spend the platform charges to your account. Advertising spend is billed by Meta or Google to your advertising account under your agreement with them. We never charge ad spend. A daily budget on a platform is the platform's target, not a cap we can enforce.

Once an action has been sent, Stuntman reports what the platform returned. If the platform's response is lost or unclear, the action is marked as needing your attention and you should check the platform directly before approving it again.

Your content and ours

You keep ownership of what you upload, your brief and your business information. You give us permission to store, process and send it to the processors named in the privacy policy so we can provide the service, and nothing more. As between you and us, you own the images, video and pages Stuntman makes for you, subject to the rights of the AI model providers and any third-party material you supplied.

You must have the rights to anything you upload and the consent of people who appear in it. Each creation asks you to confirm this. AI output can be inaccurate, unexpected or similar to output made for someone else. Review everything before you publish it, and make its generated nature clear where viewers could otherwise be misled.

Stuntman, its name, its character and its software are ours. These terms give you no rights in them beyond using the service.

What you must not do

  • Create or publish sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate images, or content that harasses, defames or impersonates a real person.
  • Make deceptive claims in ads or on landing pages, including claims you cannot substantiate, fake reviews, or false urgency.
  • Connect an account you are not authorised to act on, or use Stuntman to breach a platform's terms.
  • Upload material you do not have the rights to use.
  • Interfere with the service, probe its security, or use it to send spam.
  • Resell access to Stuntman or share one account across businesses you are not authorised to act for.

You are responsible for your ads and pages complying with the law where they are shown, including the Australian Consumer Law and the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) in Australia.

Platforms we depend on

Stuntman relies on Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, X, Zernio and the AI model providers named in the privacy policy. Each can change its terms, its features, its prices or its availability, or withdraw Stuntman's access, and we cannot control that. When a platform rejects, delays or removes something you approved, Stuntman reports it, and the remedy is with the platform. We do not promise any creative result, reach, lead count, sale or return on ad spend.

YouTube

The YouTube integration uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel or using that integration you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's privacy policy applies to Google's handling of your data, and you can revoke Stuntman's access from the Google security settings page.

Credits, fees and refunds

Creations in Stuntman are paid for with credits. 100 credits represent US$1 of usage allowance. Before each creation you see an exact credit quote; accepting it fixes the charge for that job. The credits are reserved while the job runs, charged when it completes, and released if it fails or is cancelled. A new creation needs a new quote, and recovering the same accepted request does not charge again.

Purchased credits do not expire. They are not money, cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash, and sit in one balance shared across the web, iOS, the API and connected tools. Web purchases are handled by Stripe, in test mode unless production payments have been switched on, and iOS purchases go through the App Store; live pricing for credits and any software fee will be published before we charge for them, and these terms will be updated at that time.

If we refund a purchase, the refunded credits are removed from your balance; if you had already spent them, you may need to repay the balance before creating again. Refunds for App Store purchases follow Apple's process. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law described below.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from the account menu; the data deletion page explains what happens. We can suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if a platform requires it, or if we withdraw the service, and we will tell you why where the law allows. Closing an account does not undo posts already published or campaign changes already made on a platform.

Your legal rights and our liability

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

Beyond those guarantees and any other right the law does not let us limit, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, data or business, or for the actions of a platform or AI provider, and our total liability to you in connection with Stuntman is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. You are responsible for the content you approve and the advertising spend you authorise.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. When we change them we update the date at the top, and changes that affect your rights are announced in the product before they take effect. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Questions go to chris@studioslate.com.au.
